Services for Thelma Louise Weber, 73, of 352 Clough St., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity American Lutheran Church with burial at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Vilmar Cemetery, Vilmar. She died Saturday morning {July 3, 1987) at Covenant Medical Center -West Ninth Street.

She was born on Jan. 17, 1914, in Kansas, daughter of Christoph H. and Louise Voigts Riggert Sr. She married Leonard John Weber on June 21, 1941.

She had been a school teacher in the Waterloo area for several years.

Survivors include her husband; two brothers, Paul H. Riggert of Green Valley, Ariz., and Jerome Jurgen Riggert of Waterloo.

She was receded in death by a sister, Nolda Marie Riggert; and two brothers, Chris Henry Riggert and Gustav Karl Riggert.

Friends may call at Oppold Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday and at the church for an hour before services Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Services for Thelma Louise Weber, 73, of 352 Clough St., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity American Lutheran Church with burial at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Vilmar Cemetery, Vilmar. She died Saturday (July 3, 1987) at Covenant Medical Center at West Ninth Street.

She was a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and attended Wartburg College, Waverly, and the University of Iowa, Iowa City. She held offices for many years on the state, district, county and local boards of the Republican Women. She was an honorary vice president of the Iowa Federation of Womens' Clubs, and past president of the Waterloo Woman's Club.

She had been a school teacher in the Waterloo area for several years. She also was a free-lance writer and public speaker and gave private lessons in art and music for a number of years.

Friends may call at Oppold Funeral Home after 3p.m. today and at the church for an hour before services Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to the church.
