EVANSDALE - Lois Ann Nolting, 74, of Evansdale, died Monday, June 12, 2006, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Jan. 30, 1932, in Bennington Township, daughter of Elmer and Helen Hoth Shanewise. She married Wayne W. Nolting Aug. 7, 1949, at First Lutheran Church, Waterloo. He preceded her in death April 4, 2006.

She graduated from East High School and had been employed as an usher at the Strand Theater. She also worked at Rath Packing Co. and Iowa Public Service.

Survived by a son, Michael of Gilbertville; and a daughter, Dianne Williams of Gilbertville.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evansdale, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
