CEDAR FALLS - Services for Shirley E. Welcher of 1616 S. Park Road will be 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel United Presbyterian Church in Waterloo, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. She died of cancer Friday morning at Schoitz Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Mrs. Welcher was born at Williams, daughter of Clifford J. and Helen Mae Heidt Silver. She married Jon L. Welcher Jan. 12. 1974, at Waterloo. She was employed as assistant office manager for New York Life Insurance Co. of Waterloo.

Mrs. Welcher is survived by her husband; her parents of 1725 Easton Ave., Waterloo; and two sisters, Mrs. Loaa Bisbey of 1003 Main St. and Mrs. Colleen Hadley of Marion.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Immanuel United Presbrterian Church in Waterloo.

Friends may call at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Monday.
