Memorial services for Mrs. Mary E. Waterbury, 60, of 130 Woodlawn Rd., will be 11 a.m. Friday at Westminster United Presbyterian Church. She died Wednesday afternoon at Schoitz Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Friends may call at the Reams-Dykeman Chapel after 5 p.m. Thursday. Those who wish may contribute to the memorial fund of the Church in her name. Private family services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery.

She was born Dec, 24, 1915, the daughter of Stanton and Albertina Bentley Stoddard. She was valedictorian of the 1933 class at West Waterloo High School. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1937 and taught in the Monticello and St. Paul, Minn., areas for six years.

She married Dr. Charles A. Waterbury June 19, 1940, in Waterloo. Mrs. Waterbury was a charter member of Chapter IX of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Survivors include her husband; her mother of 616 Campbell Ave.; three sons, Charles A. III of Reading, Pa., James B. of 3351 Westridge Dr., and Thomas W. of 2714, Saratoga Dr.; and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Dewey of Rockford, Ill.
