Services for Robert F. Giltner, 52, of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Corpus Christi with burial in Seaside Cemetery, Corpus Christi. Mr. Giltner died of a heart attack at his home Monday morning.

He was born June 14, 1928, at Joplin, Mo., son of John Michael "Mike" and Halah Sagan Giltner. He married Bonnie Morrison July 13, 1957, at San Diego, Calif.

He was a 1946 graduate of West High School. He was vice president of exploratory research for Genesis Petroleum Corp. in Corpus Christi.

Survivors include his wife of 6013 Killamey St., Corpus Christi; his mother, Halah Giltner Hunter of Friendship Village; four sons, Matthew, Thomas, John and Mark, all at home; a daughter, Mrs. Lisa Giltner Saldana of Corpus Christi; and a sister, Mrs. Stanley Worthington of 824 Clough St.

Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the church.
