WATERLOO - Renetta M. "Nanna" Sprague Elliott, 87, of the Denver Sunset Home, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at the Denver Sunset Home of leukemia.

She was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Bremer County, Franklin Township, daughter of Moses and Bertha Bodeker Fuhr. She married Loren Ray Sprague June 29, 1946, and they were later divorced. She married Roy G. Elliott March 15, 1975, and he died in 1986.

Mrs. Elliott worked as a home day-care provider, retiring in 1975.

Survived by a daughter, Sharon Marie Sprague (Melvin) Robinson of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Michael A. (Amber) Robinson, Marcelus A. Robinson, Jason A. Robinson and Matthew A. (Melissa) Robinson, all of Waterloo, and Joel A. (Sara) Robinson of Evansdale; four great-grandchildren, Krystal M. Robinson of Waterloo, Shawn B. Robinson and Rachael Robinson, both of Evansdale, and Alexandra McGee of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Lydia Kueker of Tripoli.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; and a brother, Warner Fuhr.

Services: will be noon Friday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with private burial in the Fairbank Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jerry Markel of Concordia Lutheran Church will be officiating.
