Frederick A. Hunt, 77, of 605 Kingsley Avenue, died Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. T. Hawkins, in Chicago, of complications incident to advanced age.

The son of Harrison and Sara Hunt, he was born Sept. 3, 1872, in Waterloo.

Mr. Hunt retired six years ago, after 54 years' service with the Illinois Central Railroad. He was conductor at the time of his retirement.

He was married to Jessie Wilder, Sept. 25, 1894, at Waverly, Iowa.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. F. T. Hawkins, Chicago; Mrs. W. P. Steeves, Louisville, Ky, and Mrs. W. E. Edwards, 605 Kingsley Avenue; three sons, H. R. Hunt, 133 Lincoln Street; F. A. Hunt, Jr 1016, Columbia Street; and L. W. Hunt, San Antonia, Tex., 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Locke Funeral Home for Frederick A. Hunt, 77, of 805 Kingsley Avenue, who died Tuesday. Rev. Thomas G. Melton, Jr., of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, three daughters, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
