WATERLOO, IOWA - Mrs. Ila Belle Ferguson Harvey of Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Winter Haven, died of heart failure Nov. 23, 2005. She was 93.

Born in Nevada, Iowa on April 20, 1912, she moved to Waterloo from Winter Haven in 2001. She was a homemaker, and she made costumes for the Winter Haven Community Theater. She was instrumental in bringing Habitat for Humanity to Winter Haven. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and she was a longtime Sunday school teacher.

Mrs. Harvey was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lee Harvey.

She is survived by her sons, Alan Harvey, Dunsmuir, Calif., Philip Harvey, Moorestown, N. J.; daughter, Barbara Lee, St. Petersburg; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
