CEDAR FALLS - Private memorial services for Daniel Richard Lembke, 16, of 1034 W. 15th St., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.

He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Friday morning at Schoitz Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. The county medical examiner has ruled the death a suicide.

He was born Nov. 23, 1964, at Spencer, son of Robert T. and Janet Mondahl Lembke. He was a 10th grade student at Cedar Falls High School

Surivvors include his parents; a brother, David at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jens Halvorson of Aplington, Minn.; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Mondahl of Blue Earth, Minn.

The body was cremated. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be given to the Iowa Lions Eye Bank in Iowa City.
