WATERLOO — Dolores M. "Dee" Hoffman, 69, of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center of complications following surgery.

She was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Theodore and Ruth Carney Wienands. She married Paul J. Hoffman on Oct. 3, 1951, in Iowa City. Mrs. Hoffman was a 1949 graduate of Marion High School.

Survived by her husband; a son, Michael J. of Holland; a daughter, Janyce Homann of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ted Wienands of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Marion Morehouse of Dallas, Texas.
