Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of First Congregational Church for Marvel Marie Maxwell, 76, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Waterloo. She died May 28 in Port Charlotte.

Mrs. Maxwell was born March 22, 1905, in Melbourne, daughter of William and Anna Chollett. She married William Clifford Maxwell Dec. 24, 1928, in Des Moines. They moved to Waterloo in 1932.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mary Lou Webb of 1014 Main St., Cedar Falls; a brother, Donald Chollett of Keokuk; a sister, Frances Calhoun of Boco Raton, Fla; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Memorials may be sent to United Pilgrim Church in Port Charlotte.
