Donald Mitchell, 83, of Traer, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at 613 Keystone St., Waterloo.

He was born May 18, 1930, son of Leonard and Sylva Mitchell. He married Melba Reeves.

Mr. Mitchell was employed at Titus Manufacturing, hauled mail for the Waterloo Post Office and worked at Rath Packing Co., John Deere and Viking Pump Co. He also drove a cab and Waterloo city buses and owned a hauling business.

Survived by his wife; a son, Robert; two daughters, Vicky and Angela; and a sister, Mildred Noble.

Preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Spires; and a son, Steven.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, Dysart, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Overton Funeral Home, Traer, is in charge of arrangements.
