Mrs. Mamie Funk, 73, died early yesterday morning of heart disease at the Scott Nursing Home, 215 Falls Avenue.

Miss Funk was born Jan. 1, 1879, in Chicago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Funk.

She moved with her parents to Hudson in June, 1899, where she resided until 1933. During 1934 she resided with a brother, Charles, in Philadelphia, Pa.

In 1935 she moved to Waterloo and made her home with another brother, Ed, at 737 Home Park Boulevard. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers who died in infancy, and two brothers, Charles and Ed.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mano Funk and Mrs. Zella Funk, and several nieces and nephews.

The body is at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church with burial in Blessing Cemetery, Black Hawk County. Rev. Fr. W. P. Leonard, assistant pastor, will officiate.
