ELLISON, LARSON

Cecil Clayton Ellison, 50, of Anamosa, Iowa, and former Waterloo resident, died Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Allen Memorial Hospital from a heart ailment. He had been a patient there since May 11. The body was taken to O'Keefe & Towne funeral home and Thursday afternoon shipped to the Loder Funeral Home where funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Wilcox Cemetery at Martelle, Iowa.

Ellison was formerly employed by the John Deere Tractor Co. and had lived in Waterloo for 14 years before moving to Anamosa in 1942. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and formerly a member of Becker-Chapman post, American Legion.

Born March 5, 1896, at Martelle, he was the son of John and Daisy Ellison. He married Edith Larson on March 5. 1918, at Anamosa. She died in 1932. He was remarried September 28, 1935, to Mildred Hoke in Waterloo.

Surviving in addition to the widow are two daughters by the first marriage, Mrs. Robert Cusher, 525 Leland avenue, and Mrs. Dwight Willison, 536 Leland avenue; one son by the second marriage, Cecil Clarence. Jr., at home in Anamosa; his mother, Anamosa, and four grandchildren.
