WATERLOO - Jeffrey Robert Tabor, 34, of 2000 W. Seventh St., died Monday, June 19, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born July 15, 1971, in Waterloo, son of Robert J. and Maureen E. Meier Tabor.

He graduated from Columbus High School in 1989 and from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in 1993, with a bachelor's degree in marketing. He was very active in Scouting, achieving an Eagle Scout on July 16, 1989, and was a member of the Evansdale Knights of Columbus Council 11192. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver, and most recently worked at Schneider National Trucking Co.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Robert and Debra Tabor of Raymond; his mother and stepfather, Maureen and Charles Andrews of Waterloo; three sisters, "Kristen" (Rusty) Wyatt, Michelle Andrews and Nicole Andrews, all of Waterloo; three brothers, Jonathan Andrews of Waterloo, and twin brothers, David and Bobby Tabor of Raymond; three nephews, Connor, Cole and Trevor; a niece, Cassie; maternal grandparents, Othmar and Dorothy Meier of La Porte City; paternal grandmother, Ida Mae Blanchard of Evansdale; maternal step-grandparents, Harold and Audrey Andrews of Waterloo; maternal stepgreat-grandfather, John E. Warren of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and paternal stepgreat-grandmother, Charlotte Reasoner of Raymond.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert B. and Caryol Tabor.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial at 1 p.m. in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Eagle Center. Public visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary by the Evansdale Knights of Columbus and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the family.
