Services for Florence C. Smith, 81 of 715 Newton St., will be I p.m. Friday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until service time. She died at Cedar Falls Health Care Center Wednesday afternoon.

She was born July 3, 1899, at Washington, Iowa, daughter of George and Gertrude Schultz Chilicote. She married Lloyd Smith Oct. 6, 1927, in Waterloo and he died six years ago.

She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and was employed at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works office before her retirement.

Survivors include a brother, Russell Chilicote of 417 Center St.; a sister Mrs Cecil Teans of Phoenix. Ariz.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Friends wishing may give memorials to Kimball Avenue Methodist Church.
