WATERLOO – Glendole B. "Glenny" Dalrymple, 95, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Manor Care Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Ackley, daughter of Charles and Kathryn Gilson Faw. She married Francis D. Dalrymple on Sept. 30, 1939, in Mason City. He died Nov. 20, 1965.

Mrs. Dalrymple was employed in the restaurant of the Ramada Hotel on Washington Street for many years.

Survived by a son, Wade (Betty); a daughter, Jean (Lonnie) Dawson of Waterloo; a daughter-in-law, Sandie Dalrymple of Vero Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Gary; and two brothers, Judson and Marvin Faw.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street and at the church for an hour before services on Tuesday.

Memorials may be directed to Children’s Miracle Network Wing at University of Iowa Hospital or Columbus High School.
