Funeral services for William Kamaras, 66, who died at the Christie Convalescent Home in
Cedar Falls at 4:30 p. m. Saturday, will be at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Greek Orthodox Church.

Mr. Kamaras, a resident of Waterloo about 30 years, had been ill 18 months and succumbed to a heart attack.

He was born in 1893* in Kalamato**, Greece, the son of Steve and Catherine Kamaras.

He later married and his wife died before he came to the United States in 1907, settling at Boone, Ia., where he was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad.

In December, 1921, he moved to Waterloo and made his home with his brother, George, 936 Walnut Street. He was employed by the Rath packing Co. from 1936 until his heath failed in the fall of 1949.

Surviving are a sister, Ann Poules, and another brother, James, both in Greece, and two nieces and a nephew.

The body is at Ray Hurley Funeral Home. The Rev. Father Stamas Sarrinicolaou will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
