CEDAR FALLS - Dixie Kay Siebel, 67, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Manorcare Health Services, Waterloo.

She was born June 7, 1946, in Waterloo, daughter of Lowell and Armilda McNeal Teckenburg. She married Richard J. Siebel on Feb. 24, 1968, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Waterloo.

She graduated from North Tama High School, Traer, and Pitze’s Beauty School.

Survived by her husband; a son, Todd of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Tami (Ken) Peverill of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry Teckenburg of Cedar Rapids, Barry Benham of Shell Rock, Blaine (Terri) Benham of Denver and Denny Benham of Des Moines; and three sisters, Pam (Chuck) Austin of Denver, Mary Dietz of Shell Rock and Cindy (Dwight) Hansen of Bloomington, Ill.

Preceded in death by her parents; and the grandmother who raised her, Inez McNeal.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parrish Church, Eagle Center, with burial Monday at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with a 4 p.m. rosary service. Visitation also for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
