Services for George D. (Johnny) Johnson, 81, of 2110 W. Ninth St., will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson died at 3:10 a.m. Thursday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital. Burial willbe in Murphy Cemetery at Westgate.

Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel until 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday. Those wishing may contribute to the Iowa Heart Association, Northeastern Division in his name.

Mr. Johnson was born April 29, 1893, in Fayette County, the son of David and Adella Sayles Johnson. He married Viola McGregor on April 5, 1934, in Galena, Ill. He was an agent for Prudential Insurance Co. for 15 years and was recently employed by Villa Laundramat.

Survivors include his wife, Viola; two sons, Johnnie Lee of Newtdwn, Mo., and Larry Dean of 143 Linwood Ave.; two daughters, Mrs. Guy Buhrow of Osage and Mrs. David Todd of 1427 Huntington Rd.; two brothers, Paul and Herbert both of Sumner; and a sister, Mrs. Zola Call of 6711 W. Shaulis Rd., Cedar Falls.
