Services for Mrs. Phillip Bonefas, 48, of 421 Independence Ave., who died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of cancer, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Born Jan. 19, 1922, in Iowa Falls as Letha Fisher, she was the daughter of Henderson and Mary Jordan Fisher. She was married to Phillip Joseph Bonefas March, 3, 1943, at St. John's Catholic Church in Waterloo.

An employe of Chamberlain Manufacturing Corp., for the past 20 years, she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Thomas Joseph Bonefai of 1684 Independence Ave.; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jean Sullivan, Chicago, Ill.; eight brothers, Ancil Fisher of Garden Grove, Calif., Ermie Fisher of 702 W. Mullan Aye.; Orville Fisher of Pryor, Okla.; Robert Fisher of Sun City, Calif.; Howard Fisher of Washington; Lloyd Fisher of Iowa Falls; Sigal Fisher of 602 Dawson St., and Karl Fisher of Oelwein; three sisters Mrs. Cleva Goettle of Ackley Mrs. Golda Eggert of Ventura Calif.; Mrs. Marie Lowrie of Des Moines; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

The Rev. A. A. Sodawasser, pastor of St. Joseph's Church, will officiate. Wake services
will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oppold Funeral Home. Rosary service by the Catholic Daughters of America will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
