EVANSDALE - Services for Alfred "Kenny" Stage, 68, of 103 Joy Dr., will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Cedar Falls, with burial in the Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Becker-Chapman American Legion Post No 138 and V.F.W. No. 1623.

Mr. Stage died Wednesday (Aug. 31, 1988) at home of cancer.

He was born April 9, 1920, in Friendship, Wis., son of Carlyle and Bernice York Stage. He married June Ann Lynn Oct. 9, 1971, in Omaha, Neb. He was employed 24 years by Deere & Co., retiring in 1982.

Survivors include his wife; four sons: John Lynn of Evansdale, Phillip Lynn of Cedar Falls, and William and James Lynn, both of Plymouth, N. C.; two daughters, Frances Yeager of Waterloo and Vivian Danenberg of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; a brother, Frank Stage of Union Grove, Wis.; two sisters, Avis Feuling of Augusta, Wis., and Betty Johnson, of Sturtevant, Wis.; 28 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Monday from 4 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Kearns Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, and at the church for an hour before services.
