CEDAR FALLS - It is with great sadness to share the passing of Roseann Jeffries on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Windhaven of Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls at the age of 78.

She was born Dec. 1, 1930, in Webster City, to Fern and Kenneth Nott. Roseann was married to James H. Jeffries on June 15, 1951.

Her legacy continues with her three sons, Jay (Pam) Jeffries of Collierville, Tenn., John (Mary) Jeffries of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Kirk Jeffries of Sioux Falls, S.D. She also leaves her love and inspiration to her sister, Jerri (Dale) Faulkner of Des Moines, and four grandchildren, Meagan (Warner) Cannada of Madison, Miss., Karen Jeffries of Baton Rouge, La., Ryan Jeffries on tour with the USMC and Rachel Jeffries of Oxford, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, on April 19, 2008, her parents and one brother.

Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, March 13, , 10:30 a.m. at Waterloo First United Methodist Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, (319) 233-6138.

The Jeffries family would like to thank the staff at the Western Home Communities for their kindness and care.
