Word was received Thursday from Beloit, Wis., of the death of a former Waterloo resident, James Blaine Heaberlin, 62.

While living here, he had worked for the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works and for Iowa Dairy Co. He left Waterloo 25 years ago to accept a positioin in Beloit with the Fairbanks-Morse Co., where he was employed until his death.

His wife, the former Frieda Klaus, who was born and raised in Waterloo, survives.

Funeral services and burial will be in Beloit Friday afternoon.
