WATERLOO - Beverly A. Wellner, 76, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Allen Hospital.

She was born April 7, 1937, in Waterloo, daughter of George and Edna Earles Kerns. She married Dale B. Wellner on Feb. 14, 1991, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Wellner worked as a cook at the Ramada Inn and also the Brown Bottle Restaurant. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Roxann (Steve) Jensen of Cedar Falls and Elizabeth Kerns of Waterloo; three sons, Rick (Diana) Haddeman of Cedar Falls, Clyde Legler of Waterloo and George (Shellie) Legler of Modesto, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dean (Donna) Kerns of Waterloo and Don (Bev) Kerns of Enid, Okla.; and a sister, Carol of Oraville, Calif.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, with a 7 p.m. parish vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.
