WATERLOO - Peggy Ham, 87, of Waterloo, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Waterloo, and raised by her grandmother, Lillian Squier. She married William C. Ham on May 6, 1945, in Waterloo; he died June 9, 2005.

Mrs. Ham graduated from Waterloo East High School, and worked as a sales clerk at Sears for 25 years.

Survived by a daughter, Sue (Tom) Martin of Waterloo; a son, Craig (Paddy) of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Whitney Kidder, Brady Martin, Andrea (Larry) Garrison and Chad (Kris) Ham; two great-grandsons, Connor and Caleb Ham; and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her grandmother, Lillian Squier; and a brother, Herbert Kittrell.

Memorial services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Locke Funeral Home, with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will greet friends for an hour before services at the funeral home.

Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be directed to the family or Cedar Valley Hospice.
