Loise Zimmerman Scheele, 73, of Western Springs, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, died March 30, 1993, in Western Springs of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 12,1919, in Waterloo, daughter of Arthur A and Macetta Browning Zimmerman. She married Albert G. Scheele in June 1943 in Waterloo.

She was employed by the Waterloo Courier from 1937 to 1939. She later was employed by the J. Walter Thompson Co., and was a columnist for suburban newspapers.

Surviviors include three sons, Doug of Western Springs, Tad of Mount Prospect, Ill., and Tom of Westmont, Ill.; a daughter, Debbie Collander of Naperville, Ill.; a brother, Carl B. Zimmerman of Waterloo; and seven grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a sister, Helen Zimmerman Hickman in 1951; and a granddaughter.

Memorial services were April 3 at Highlands Presbyterian Church, La Grange,
