James C. Jensen Jr., 72, of Torrance, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Nov. 21, 1993, of a heart condition.

He was born Feb. 12, 1921, near Dike, son of James C. and Elsie Nielsen Jensen Sr. He married Onalae M. Bailey in 1942. They were later divorced.

Mr. Jensen practiced veterinary medicine in Long Beach, Calif., for 39 years. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a prisoner of war in Germany for 2 1/2 years.

Survived by two sons, Milo and Gregory, both of Long Beach; a daughter, Danielle Williams of Simi Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren and a greatgrandchild; two brothers, Wayne and Jack, both of Salem, Ill.; and three sisters, Marian Lehr of Waterloo, Alice Jensen of San Dimas, Calif., and Patricia Harris of Jackson, Calif.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Milo and Victor.

Graveside services were Nov. 30 at National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif. A.M. Gamby Funeral Home, Lomita, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
