CEDAR FALLS-Services for Lawrence H. Bisterfelt, 73, of 2104 Iowa St., will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. He died Monday morning at Allen Memorial Hospital. Waterloo, of a heart attack.

He was born Nov. 28, 1907, at Waverly, son of William and Rachel Pitts Bisterfelt. He married Harriet Heuckendorf at Creston in August 1928. She preceded him in death. He then married Opal Shepherd d'Happart April 3. 1937. at Marysville, Mo. Before retiring in 1973, he was a pint contractor.

Survivors include his wife; four sons. Clarence d'Happart and Larry Bisterfelt, both of Garland. Texas, Floyd Bisterfelt of Honolulu, Hawaii, and John Bisterfelt of Van Alstyne. Texas: two daughters, Mary Ellen Nicklaus of Des Moines and Laura Rose Nicklaus of Parkersburg; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Heart Fund or Cancer Society. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home.
