Larry A. McBride, 47, of Clarksville, formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home Monday, April 18, 2005, of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 4, 1957, in Waterloo, son of Lawrence and Jane Larson McBride. He had worked for Shell Rock Products. He also was a veteran of the Marines.

Survivors include his parents of Clarksville; a son, Brandon of Evansdale; a brother, Steven of Clarksville; and a sister, JoEllen (Bret) Lee of Marshalltown.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Friends may call for two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by Waterloo AMVETS Post No. 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post No. 31.
