WATERLOO - Alice B. Franklin, 78, of Waterloo, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Greene, daughter of Archie and Cora Skillen Raymond. She married Duane Franklin on April 15, 1946, in Waterloo. He died Jan. 26, 1989.

Survivors include three sons: Michael (Nada) of Waterloo, Steven of Evansdale and Craig of Des Moines; a daughter, Linda (James) Murray of La Porte City; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Hayungs of Rudd.

Preceded in death by a brother, Walter "Bud" Raymond; a sister, Eileen Barry; and a daughter-in-law, Debra Smith.

Services: 11 a,m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.
