WATERLOO - Genevieve I. Grieves, 72, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born April 25, 1932, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Bert and Lydia Donath Rogers. She married Donald W. Grieves on May 15, 1955, in Nashua.

Mrs. Grieves graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1950. She worked at Rath Packing Co., Adams Groceries, GNC, and retired from the business office at Covenant Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Donald and David, both of Waterloo, Brad (Nicole) of Evansdale and Gary (Paula) of Wellsburg; two daughters, Lori Grieves of Waterloo and Diane (Greg) May of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren; and two brothers, Howard (Charlotte) Rogers of Cedar Falls and Gerald (Joan) Rogers of Texas.

Preceded in death by five brothers, Stanley, Francis, Lawrence, Hugh and Donath Rogers; and a sister, Mildred Rickard.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
