WATERLOO - Marlys Ann Sadler, 67, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

She was born June 17, 1938, in Jesup, daughter of Albert Matt and Esther Youngblut Sadler. She married Gene Venenga in 1991. They later divorced.

She graduated from Jesup High School in 1956 and attended cosmetology school. She owned and operated Marlys Style Salon for 47 years.

Survived by her mother of Waterloo; three brothers, Laverne Sadler of Readlyn, Wayne (Jan) Sadler of Waterloo and Dennis (Judy) Sadler of Hudson; 11 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father; and one nephew.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with inurnment in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services Saturday at the church. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is in charge of arrangements.
