Susan Sara Miller, 53, of Fairbank, died at home Friday, Sept. 20, of natural causes.

She was born June 1, 1960, in Waterloo, daughter of Melvin J. and Elsie V. Habenicht Miller.

She graduated from high school in Oelwein in 1978. She worked at Rath Packing in Waterloo until it closed, at Bertch Cabinetry for a number of years along with numerous other jobs until retiring for health reasons.

Survived by a daughter, Tiffany Miller of Ames; a brother, Mike Miller of Fairbank; two sisters, Marlene (John) Higgins of Waterloo and Patty Clement of Charles City; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Gary Jones and Tim Miller; and a nephew Edward Schares.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Woods Funeral Home, with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, both in Fairbank. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a 4 p.m. rosary.

Memorials may be directed to her daughter.
