WATERLOO - Leo J. Dohnal, 88, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 8, at Friendship Village.

He was born Aug. 10, 1916, in Maribel, Wis., son of Emil and Priscilla Kvetik Dohnal. He married Evelyn Ario on Dec. 25, 1938, in Milwaukee.

Mr. Dohnal was employed with Sears for 37 years as a clerk, retiring in August 1979.

Survivors include his wife at Friendship Village; a son, Robert (Jean) of Milwaukee; a daughter, Joan (Frank) Kneeland of Waterloo; nine grandchildren, Tim and Jolene Kneeland, Tom and Deniene Kneeland, Brad and Jennifer Kneeland, Bart and Tiffany Kneeland, Darcey and Anton Sharipov, David Dohnal, Brett Dohnal, Cari and Ryan Mackey, and Kevin Dohnal; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother; and two sisters.

Private services: were today at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway was in charge of arrangements.
