CEDAR FALLS— Services for Bernard "Bernie" Braun, 62, of 1714 W. Third St., will, be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Waterloo.

There will be a 7 p.m. Scripture service Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.

Mr. Braun died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born July 1, 1921, in Waterloo, son of Frank and Emma Wilharm Braun. He graduated from East High School in 1940. He married Naomi Hurley July 28, 1942, in Iowa City. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Employed at the John Deere Components Works for almost 42 years, he retired as a supervisor in October of 1982,

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard E. of Milwaukee, David T. of Kewaunee, Wis., and Keith W. of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Janice of Waterloo, Mrs. Michelle Francik and Mrs. Cynthia Gladden, both of Waterloo; six grandchildren; his stepfather, Bud Singer of Masonville.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.

A memorial fund has been established.
