CEDAR FALLS - Dwight LeRoy Krueger, 80, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005 at his home.

He was born March 23, 1925, in Brookings, S.D., son of LeRoy W. and Ethel M. Hubbard Krueger. He married Charlotte Foster May 27, 1949, in Brookings.

Mr. Krueger graduated from Brookings High School and also South Dakota State University, Brookings. He was a field representative for the Social Security Administration for 31 years, retiring in 1988. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps.

Survived by his wife; a son, Lyle D. (Joyce) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Nyla (Steve) Fox of Jesup; five grandchildren, Benjamin (Angie) Krueger, Matthew Krueger, and Kim, Kyle and Kurt Fox; and a sister, Frances (Larry) Nelson of Bozeman, Mont.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Wesleyan Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Military services will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church, Cedar Falls Bible Conference or the Western Home.
