Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Effie Ross Refsneider, 81, of Long Beach, Calif. She had been a resident of Waterloo for many years, moving to Long Beach 12 years ago.

She was born Dec. 12, 1873*, in Oelwein.

Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a, m. at the Brant Funeral Home at Oelwein. Burial will be at 11 a. m. at the Elmwood Cemetery.

Monday rites will be conducted for Mrs. Effie Refsnider, 82*, at 9 a.m. at Brant Funeral Chapel, Dr. L. W. Hauter officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Waterloo.

Mrs. Refsnider, of Huntington Park, Calif., died Thursday morning. The body is being shipped here and will be taken to Brant Funeral Home Sunday.

Mrs. Refsnider was born in Fayettte County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ross. She was a former resident of this community.

Surviving are a brother, Earl, of Huntington Park, Calif., and a sister, Elretta, Oregon. Her husband. Grant, preceded her in death.
