CEDAR FALLS - Ella June Eckhoff, 84, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born June 14, 1923, near Fern, daughter of Jacob and Ella Syhlman Everts. She married Harlon Eckhoff on Jan. 11, 1947, at Little Brown Church, Nashua.

She was a waitress for several years at area restaurants.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Linda (Jim) Sterling of Liberty, Mo., and LuAnn (Tom) Ray of Cedar Falls; four sons, Kenneth (Sharon) and Calvin (Cindy), both of Cedar Falls, Wayne (Karen Gray) of Waterloo and Wendell (Sue) of Stewartville, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lester (Hazel) Everts of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Tina (Warren) Berhends of Traer.

Preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Lee; and a half brother, Alvin Syhlman.

Services: 1:30 pm Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Cedar Falls, with burial at 4 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

A memorial fund will be established.
