DEATH OF Mrs. E. K. WARE.—The news was received in this city last week of the death of Mrs. Mary E. wife, of E. K. Ware, of Minneapolis, Minn., formerly of this city. Mrs. AVare. died at Minneapolis, Thursday. May 1st, of cerebro spinal meningitis, in the 39th year of her age. The funeral services were to be held last Friday.

For some time past she had been in feeble health and for this reason the bracing climate of Minnesota was sought with the hope that its influences might be beneficial. A few weeks since, while Mr. Ware was in this city, the news of Mrs. Ware's illness called him home, and soon after he wrote to his sister, Mrs. J. II. Leavitt, and she went to Minneapolis and was there when Mrs. Ware died.

We have no further particulars at hand and can only express tho heartfelt sympathy of all the many friends of the bereaved family in this their sore affliction.
