She came to this county in the early days and she and her husband were prominently identified with the growth and development of the section in which they lived. She was a member of the Free Baptist Church, a prominent church worker and teacher in the Sunday school for a number of years. She had endeared, herself to the members of the church and Sunday school of the church as well as the community at large in a manner that will cause her death to be sincerely mourned by all.
