George W. Shields, formerly a building contractor In Waterloo, died Friday morning at his home in Oklahoma City, Okla., according to a message received by friends here today.

The funeral and burial will be Sunday at Oklahoma City.

Mr. Shields, who was about 63 years of age. left. Waterloo 20 years ago. While residing in Waterloo he built many houses and was well known here.

His first wife was Miss Rosa Blim of Waterloo, who died in 1904. Four years later he married Mrs. George Burger, who survives. Surviving also are two daughters, Mrs. John Phillips, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. N. C. McKean Marshall, Okla.
