EVANSDALE — Arnold J. Jungen, 69, of Evansdale, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born Aug. 10, 1944, in Waterloo, son of Arnold and Dorothy Knebel Jungen. He married Barbara Fankhauser on June 3, 1969, in Waterloo.

Mr. Jungen was employed with Chamberlain Manufacturing Co. for 27 years and later with Tyson Foods, retiring in 2009.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Tony and John (Amanda), both of Evansdale; a daughter, Tammy (Allen) Fecht of Waterloo; four grandchildren; three brothers, Paul (Nancy) of Elk Run Heights, Bob (Sue) of Waterloo and Ron of Raymond; and two sisters, Mary Ann (Skip) Fecht of Waterloo and Marlene (Scott) Gruver of North Liberty.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Raymond, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
