WATERLOO — Donald E. Milligan Sr., 83, of Waterloo, died at home Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Morning Sun, son of Everett and Violet Siverly Milligan. He married Betty Jean Manley in Keokuk, and they later divorced. He married Carolyn Phillips and they later divorced. He married Yvonne Annette Gushard Pritchett on Sept. 1, 1990, in Omaha.

Mr. Milligan graduated from Fairfield High School and was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 23 years in the foundry, retiring in 1992.

Survived by: his wife; four sons, Donald E. Jr. (Sue) and Daniel (Mary Jo), both of Waterloo, Randy of Evansdale and Victor (Nicole) of Williamsburg; a daughter, Vickie (Roger) Thompson of Waterloo; two stepsons, David (Connie) Pritchett of Council Bluffs and Timothy (Mary Jo) Pritchett of Beemer, Neb.; a stepdaughter, Deborah (David) Stanek of Glenwood; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Patrick Michael of Peoria, Ill..

Preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Dulin and Sheila DeVore; a brother, William; and two sisters, Margaret Norcott and Helen Muenzenmeyer.

Family graveside services will be held at a later date. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is assisting the family.
