Edwin C. Robblns, 75, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at his home, 116 Commercial Street, of hardening of the arteries. He had been a resident of Waterloo for 20 year's, and for 15 years operated the Robbins Transfer company.

Deceased was born May 25, 1858, at Albany, O., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Robbins. He married Miss Rachel A. Robbins July 4, 1883, at Fairmont, Neb. The couple came to Iowa 22 years ago, living on a farm in Benton County for two years before coming to Waterloo. Mr. Robins was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Surviving besides his widow are three sons: George L. and Earl C. Robbins, Chicago, and Roy L. Robbins, 626½ Sycamore Street; also three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Salvation Army citadel, Maj. Henry Nichols, officiating. Burial will be in Buckingham Cemetery, near Traer, la.

The body will remain at Parrott & Wood chapel until 10 a.m. Wednesday, when it will be taken to Salvation Army headquarters.
