CEDAR FALLS — Mary Elizabeth Beck, 61, of Minneapolis, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Robinsdale Rehabilitation Center, Robinsdale, Minn., after a lengthy illness.

She was born Oct. 20, 1951, in Waterloo, daughter of Nels C. and Gladys E. Finch Beck.

Miss Beck graduated from Cedar Falls High School. She had been employed at the Black Hawk County Auditor’s Office in Waterloo, Continental Insurance and Alina Health Care in Minneapolis.

Survived by three brothers, Lewis E. and David C. Beck, both of Aplington, and Neil R. Beck of Dike; a sister, Pat Beck of Olympia, Wash.; four nephews; two nieces; and many grandnieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; two nephews, Monte and Thomas Beck; and a niece, Linda Beck.

Celebration of Life services: were Aug. 26 at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, Minneapolis, with inurnment in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens at a later date.
