Harold E. "Buster" White, 78, of Clarksville, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday morning, Feb. 24, 2006, at his daughter's home.

He was born April 10, 1927, in Elkader, son of Karl LeRoy and Jessie Pauline Page White. He married Doris R. Fleshner June 28, 1958, at the Shell Rock Baptist Church.

Mr. White worked for Rath Packing Co., Waterloo, until retiring in 1983.

Survived by his wife; a son, Karl (Sharon) of Nashua; a daughter, Kara McGee of Clarksville; two grandsons; and two sisters, Dorothy Singer of Cedar Falls and Frances Wright of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a son-in-law, Roger McGee; a sister, Gladys Merrick; and a stepgranddaughter.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Clarksville Church of Christ, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly.
