WATERLOO - Lyle Charles "LC" Hennessey, 86, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 10, 1913, in Strawberry Point, son of Charles and Retha O'Brien Hennessey. He worked as a machinist for John Deere.

Survived by a daughter, Chris Sharp of Longmont, Colo.; and two granddaughters.

Preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

There will be no visitation or services; his body was cremated. Parrott & Wood Family Funeral Care is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Hawkeye Community College.
