DUNKERTON — Warren Magee Miller, 76, of Dunkerton, died at home Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, of cancer.

He was born June 27, 1919, in Dunkerton, son of Clarence August and Lillian Grace Magee Miller. He married Charlotte Buss on Dec. 29, 1939, in Kirksville, Mo. She died March 10, 1984. He married Eloise Loraine "Sally" French on June 30, 1984, in Pampa, Texas.

Mr. Miller attended Iowa State University, Ames. He farmed for 37 years, had been a bus driver for Dunkerton Community Schools for 40 years, and in early years had driven a rural milk route. He was past president of the Dunkerton Co-op Board of Directors, was past president of the Fairview Cemetery Board for 17 years and had managed the community hall for eight years.

Survived by his wife; two daughters, Jane Happel of Dunkerton and Linda Whitmore of Cedar Falls; two sons, Gary of Waterloo and Clint of Dunkerton; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Terry French of Waterloo and Paul French of Virginia Beach, Va.; four stepdaughters, Andrea Wente of Waterloo, Rita Ward of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mavis Douglass of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Maria Hudgins of Cape Coral, Fla.; and 10 stepgrandchildrcn and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Dunkerton. Friends may call today at White Funeral Home, Jesup, with the family present from 1 to 8 p.m. Visitation also.
