WATERLOO — Bernie M. Foreman, 70, of Brownsville, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, died at home Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995, of natural causes.

She was born June 24, 1925, in Des Moines, daughter of David E. and Gladys Michaelson Oliphant. She married George Foreman.

Mrs. Foreman had worked at S&S Grocery Store and Adams Grocery, both in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; a son, Danny D. of Waterloo; a daughter, Julie MacGleason of Waterloo; and a brother, Ernest Oliphunt of San Antonio, Texas.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Central Christian Church, Brownsville. Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, Brownsville, is in charge of arrangements.
